Made by Hand

Today I have gift wrapped some of my handmade Christmas gifts.
Paper with stars from a local supermarket, neon ribbon and
patchwork mushrooms from last year and finally
my new labels.

The labels are made by a talented blog friend of mine.

You can see some of her lovely work on her website, No21.

I haven't caught the Christmas spirit yet,
but I better find the boxes with Christmas decoration before
next Sunday, the first advent Sunday.

A couple of days ago a friend and I went to a lovely Christmas fair.
It was in a huge, private flat in a very old building in Copenhagen.
The flat was gorgeous and so were all the Christmas stuff, 
you could buy there. Mostly very old items from Sweden.

I enjoy the Easter break very much,

I just wish, it was a bit warmer.....

 

The lovely Easter wood ornaments are from a local tea shop.

The owner of the shop told me, that they would also order Christmas ornaments!



 

 

Now it's time to knit, watch a movie (Beck - a Swedish crime story - one of my favourites!) -

but first I have to make some popcorn.

Christmas is over for now,

he is my faourite christmas tree seller

slow life in November

I'm back after a one week break in Provence

- just my hubby and me

our first real vacation without our children

we lived in a small village close to Mont Ventoux

here are a few pictures from a walk in the village

we have had a lot of coffee breaks, eating good food and wine

visited so many markets

my suitcase was filled with goodies from Provence

vanilla, spices, sun dried tomatoes, cheese, fabric and a single basket

today we have continued our slow life,

while we try to adjust everyday life again

we are doing good so far

Cph on wheels

today my husband and I decided to explore Copenhagen on wheels

we only have a few days left of our holiday

and we want to enjoy life as much as possible



one of my favorite places in Cph is Værnedamsvej

here you find this lovely flowershop



and a great place for a break....

.......coffee and cake at café Grenola

we also went here, here and here - we biked about 26 km

a great afternoon!

Frederikkes has arrived safe to NY, where she's gonna stay until the weekend

next stop is her host family in Idaho

Olivia is at the Copenhagen Fashion Week

wine and bruschetta for dinner - who can ask for more....

one of those days that I want to keep in my mind

that day was a nice break in the everyday life

Liberty, linen, love..

saturday - and it's finally holiday time

we are ready for a break

we have to enjoy every single minute of this holiday

our youngest daughter leaves us in the beginning of August

she is going to Idaho for ten months

the linen is even more beautiful with the mix of Liberty fabric

easter time

usually we don't do a lot of decoration for easter

eggs and flowers in cheerful colors are great decoration

I have made a tiny bird nest with easter eggs, that's all
